Cleveland Bush III, born November 20, 1973, in a Suburban Town of Chicago, Illinois called Robbins. He is the son of Blondell Weaver and The Late Cleveland Bush Jr. He has two siblings. Grew up in Chicago and North Augusta, South Carolina. Permanently relocating to South Carolina in 1990, Cleveland graduated from North Augusta High School in 1992. He is a Veteran of the UNITED States Navy. A twenty(20) Year survivor of Mass Incarceration, where he learned the valuable art of survival through faith. He is a powerful and skilled orator, blogger, author and entrepreneur. Currently residing in Columbia, South Carolina and works as a winding Technician in the Fiberglass industry. Considered to be a loving and devoted husband, awesome brother and a loyal and honest friend
Cleveland has educated numerous audiences on crime and punishment, and the familial as well as personal effects of incarceration. He’s been invited to speak to at risk youth groups, inmates, high school athletes, mothers raising children in a hostile society, hospice care groups, homeless communities and other social economic groups.
It’s his deep passion for turning the amalgamation of life experiences and fantasy into enchanting thrillers to provide excellent reading material for a wide range of audiences.

Winn Publications: How did your journey as an author begin?
My journey as an author began years ago. I was angry, isolated and at that time in my life hopeless. A good friend and mentor suggested that I try to pursue writing as a way of releasing some of the pressure that was building up inside of me.
Winn Publications: Who or what motivated you to write?
Actually writing is something that I never even gave thought to. For a long time even as I completed my first book of poetry, I had no urge to become a writer.
Winn Publications: How was the publishing process?
The process of publishing has been an experience. Have to shut out to ms. Arilia Winn for making this an awesome experience.
Winn Publications: Since becoming a published author, what challenges have you faced if any?
I have to face challenges of trying to balance work, a life-changing pandemic, being a good husband and deadlines. Also, preparing more exciting, captivating literature for my audience to read.
Winn Publications: Have you written anything outside of nonfiction?
Yes, I have written poetry that touches on an array of topics from love to personal loss.
Winn Publications: Do you have a tip that you can offer your peers (poets and writers worldwide)?
The one tip I can offer my peers is no matter your message, somebody needs to hear it.
Winn Publications: Are you currently working on any new projects? If so when can we expect them to be released?
Yes, I am working on a couple of new projects that are sure to succeed my debut novel “Identical Strangers”.
Winn Publications: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In five years I see my characters Fatimah and Khadijah Dupree on the screen of major theaters.
Winn Publications: What does being an author mean to you?
To me, being an author means the authority to relay on self-expression for the purpose of educating and entertaining.
Winn Publications: What’s your favorite quote and who’s it by?
“You have to work like a slave to eat like the master!” That is a personal affirmation I use in my everyday grind.
Winn Publications: If you could co-author with anyone – dead or alive- who would it be and why?
If I could co-author with someone it would have to be my mentor, fellow author and long time friend Mrs. Juva Threat Alexander.
