Lovely Shifter Romance from a Debut Author

This is a lovely story involving a shifter (Kayden) and an artist (Kamari) whose meeting and eventual love seems to be fated by their own dreams and visions. This was my first exposure to a shifter romance and I like the concept and the author has done a good job of building her own world different than other paranormal worlds like in Twilight. The relationship between Kayden and Kamari is sweet and moves quickly. Without giving away any spoilers, the author does a good job of tying up all loose ends by the finish of the tale. I don’t know if there is a sequel planned, because the author seemed to tie up all loose ends by the end of the story.

This is a debut novel. There is some head hoping and form construction that was confusing at times and required me to reread parts to make sure I understood. The imagination and world building compensated for that in my opinion and I expect this author to continue to improve her craft. This book is well worth the read.

Fun place to start if you are new to shifter novels

New to me author! I’m also not big on shifter novels, but this was a fun place to start. My only suggestion is that timeline did feel a little rushed, but otherwise it was a quick and fun read. It’s also more on the fade-to-black, closed door type of romance so if you are looking for a book like that I would definitely recommend it!

Absolutely amazing story! I’ve never been into love stories but the magic, fantasy, and action aspects of this book definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved the characters ( well most of them) and hell there was one I could even relate to a bit. I would highly recommend it for adults and even teens!
