It started at the age of 23, when I opened my first storefront ice cream parlor in St. Petersbug, Florida.
Winn Publications: Was it something you always wanted to pursue?
Yes
Winn Publications: Who or what motivated you to write?
What motivated me to write my book was TIME. I knew that the information needed to get out and I could keep talking about getting my book out and I had to put it into action.
Winn Publications: Have you published your writings into a book? If so, where can we find it/them?
Yes my book is available on all retail platforms and my website .
Winn Publications: How was the publishing process?
It was very challenging. It was tedious and TIME consuming.
Winn Publications: Are you self-published?
No, I have a publisher.
Winn Publications: Since becoming a published author, what challenges have you faced if any?
Where do I start? I have faced many obstacles, one in particular as I was in the publishing phase of my book, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease and I had to get through 5 rounds of edits. In addition I knew that I needed to have a plan for my book post publishing. I needed to create a brand message and create brand colors, so I created a business plan for my book. I had a certain amount of books that I knew I wanted to sell outside of the Amazon Platform.
