Mission: Lead by example

Leader. A word that applies to Arilia Winn in every facet of her life, from the adversities she’s faced and overcame to the role she plays in the community. Raised by parents who believe in  God and in the golden rule – treat others the way you want to be treated, Arilia’s life is a reflection of  these values.

Her decades of  learning and growing through the teaching of the Bible, college institutions and the school of hard knocks, Arilia is devoted to helping others the best way she knows how – creatively.  After 7 years of studying journalism, fashion PR, creative writing, audio engineering and news writing, Arilia graduated with her BA in 2014 from Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach Florida. That same year she gave birth to her child and became an amazing single mama.

After graduation little did she know that she would go on to create a successful publishing business where she not only writes and publishes her own work, but she assists other authors and writers with writing and publishing theirs as well.

Project Heal Her

During the process of publishing her latest book, In the Beginning, a short story inspired by her experience with domestic violence and sexual assault, Miss Winn thought that it was time to spark up the conversation about safety and ending abuse by dealing with the abusers and focusing more on prevention.

Through sharing her experience and her expertise on domestic violence and sexual assault, Miss Winn is reaching out to anyone who will listen both on and offline.

If you are a nonprofit or organization that works with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and you would like for her to present at your next event virtually or would like to collaborate, email press@misswinn.com to get on the schedule. All presentations are currently free. Miss Winn is just happy to help and share her story to inspire and educate.
